since 2018. This venue space is a family-owned business featuring cozy 1800s log cabins and
is the Former property of Glendale Alumni Sonny Hatfield. Located in the historic Glendale,
Kentucky area, the gardens are home to an array of plant life, both native and non-native to the
area, which makes for an excellent backdrop for any event.
Details of the Grounds
The Glendale Gardens wedding venue is home to multiple ceremony and reception locations. If
you are interested in an outdoor ceremony, you can wed under a canopy of trees. The rustic
wooden arch for the ceremony decor offers beautiful photographic opportunities and free-
standing doors that open to the ceremony. Guests will sit on rustic benches for your ceremony.
In addition, you can marry in any one of the 3 Churches nearby for a church ceremony, such as
the Gilead, Glendale Christian, and Glendale Methodist churches. Afterward, you can host your
reception on the Glendale Gardens property. The reception location includes the barn, which
features space for tables and a dance floor. The barn has multiple options, such as keeping the
doors closed for indoor use. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the fairy lights for a
romantic feel by opening up the barn for the use of the outdoor patio as well.
Getting Ready Spaces
You and your bridal and groomsmen parties can take advantage of the getting-ready spaces on
the Glendale Gardens property. The Bridal Getting Ready suite features shuttered windows for
natural light and white walls with Paris-themed wallpaper. The suite has tables and chairs for
makeup and hair, a changing corner, direct access to wrap the around porch, and a clothing
rack for dresses. The shower, farmhouse-style tub, and room with couches, chairs, windows,
and fireplace contribute to the room’s shabby, chic feel. Each one of these features offers
excellent opportunities to take photos as well!
The Groom’s Room has an Xbox for entertainment, couches for lounging, stone fireplaces, a
porch, and large windows. This log cabin aesthetic is fantastic for groomsmen photos!
