If you’re looking for a wedding venue that can give you that rustic, barn feel, this location may
be the one for you. Providing you and your loved ones with the “ultimate Kentucky experience,”
your vows will be remembered for their classically southern, laid-back aesthetic. This is the
Highland Stables Bowling Green wedding venue!
This venue was built in 2000 as an equine boarding and training facility by Charles Mosley as a
gift to his wife, Betty, who absolutely loves horses. As many couples began to inquire about
weddings and events held on the property, Highland Stables transitioned to a full-time event
venue in 2014 and has welcomed families and celebrations ever since!
The Highland Stables Bowling Green wedding venue is conveniently located near the city. The
secluded 168-acre family farm is the ideal central location between Nashville and Louisville. It’s
a great place to explore before or after the wedding with your family and friends. You can find
the venue at 1301 B Hunts Lane, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42103.
When it comes to the details, this wedding venue has it all. If you’re looking for an outdoor
ceremony space to say your “I dos,” you can check out the paved outdoor patio as an option.
This area is surrounded by a white fence and tons of greenery. There is also an archway and a
tiny gazebo for the front of the aisle. If you’re looking for a more traditional feel, you can also
check out the small, outdoor open chapel. This location features a concrete pad, benches, and
beautiful drapery hung. The outdoor meadow is another excellent option, featuring large green
trees and white benches.
For your reception, you have the option of either an indoor or outdoor location. The barn is a
great indoor location and features 26,000 sq. ft. of space, cobblestone floors, all glass garage
doors at the ends of the venue, and spacious handicap-accessible indoor restrooms. However,
if you want to keep the outdoor feel, you can choose to host your reception in the meadow/grass
area surrounded by a gravel road. This location features a white fence, tables/chairs, and a
backdrop of the hills.
Each space can hold up to 250 guests. For cocktail hour, you can utilize the firepit and patio. If
you need a space to get ready, you can also request the use of the two private dressing rooms
with a hospitality area.
