Nestled within the sprawling horse farms of Central Kentucky lies a 50-year-old castle on a hill
with stunning views of 110 acres of farmland. Rex Martin and his wife Caroline began
construction on the Castle in 1969 after the beautiful architecture of Europe inspired them
during their honeymoon. As the unfinished castle sat vacant for almost 30 years, tourists
became captivated by it as a roadside attraction.
The owners have devoted themselves to bringing new life to the castle grounds. As a result, the
Castle is where families can celebrate the best days of their lives. The goal is to provide you
with an exceptional experience.

Details of the Grounds

When booking your Kentucky Castle wedding venue, you can choose a fully customized day
with a ceremony in the courtyard. The courtyard is a stone ceremony pad with castle walls lined
with trees and shrubs. You can also choose to have your ceremony in the ballroom.
If you want an outdoor reception, you can utilize the outdoor tent. The courtyard can handle a
full-sized party tent for an outdoor reception. The castle roof can also be used for the reception
or cocktail hour. The ballroom is elegant and classically designed. It features crystal
chandeliers, ornate gold molding and detailing, and gold marble fireplaces.
Suppose you need other spaces for smaller events. In that case, you can utilize any terraces
overlooking the courtyard for cocktail hour. The castle rooftop is a superb cocktail hour location
for watching the sunset over the beautiful Bluegrass countryside and farm. If you need a place
to get ready, you can take advantage of the bridal suite and groom’s room. With 15 guest
accommodations, including a Farm View Cabin and 4 Tower Suites, you will be impressed no
matter which setting you choose.

The Kentucky Castle wedding venue contains two on-site coordinators who help plan every
detail for your special day. You can choose from a variety of different packages, including:

● East Wing Package ($12000, a ballroom ceremony, courtyard cocktail hour, tented East
terrace reception, and can host up to 120 guests)

● Greenhouse Package ($14000, a courtyard ceremony, rooftop cocktails, a greenhouse
reception, and can host up to 180 guests)

● Castle Package ($18000, can use all venues, you’ll have the option to close the public
restaurant for the night, and can host up to 180 guests.
