If you love horses and are looking for a quiet, stunning place to get married, I have the perfect
venue for you. With a rich history and a love for horsemanship, the Hundley family opened a
wedding venue that would be unmatched in both versatility and beauty. With serene, natural
beauty, there are many ways to celebrate the most special day of your life at the Polo Barn at
Saxony Farm!
Polo Barn at Saxony Farm
About the Polo Barn at Saxony Farm
Since 1968, this rustic farm has been family-owned and operated by the sweet Hundley family.
With a passion for raising and caring for Thoroughbreds, the team at Saxony Farm helped
produce six champion racehorses. Each one of these team members loved the farm so much
that they each decided to stay and care for these incredible horses. Over time, many couples
fell in love with this venue and began asking to hold wedding ceremonies and receptions at the
farm. Soon, the Hundleys’ son diversified the farm to include an entire wedding venue, two
small homes, and a shop. It is also, in my opinion, one of the most stunning venues in the area!
Details of the Grounds
This wedding venue is home to three separate ceremony spaces in the Bluegrass countryside.
There is a beautiful setting outside the barn if you are looking for an outdoor ceremony space.
The outdoor ceremony space is west facing, making it a wonderful area to have a ceremony in
the evening with the sunset behind you. The location is also bordered by maple, pecan,
sycamore, and oak trees, creating a beautiful canopy for photos and a view of the rolling
countryside.
The Large Polo Barn is a truly rustic space with 6ft iron chandeliers, concrete flooring, and
eighteen original horse stalls. This reception space holds 250 guests and can also be used as a
rehearsal dinner or cocktail hour space. The Small Polo Barn is a setting for smaller, more
intimate weddings. This location comes with 30ft long oak tables, two walls with stunning
windows, a full-working kitchen, and ample space for an outdoor reception.
